Why Babymoon
With buckle carriers, it’s exactly the other way around. After the birth of her first child, new mommy and developer, Geta Rasciuc, tried many carriers and was taken aback by the current market offerings. Therefore, she decided to create change herself by developing a carrier that brings together the best of both worlds.
After years of developing, testing, and fine-tuning in collaboration with health professionals, babywearing consultants, and parents, the time has finally come: Babymoon Carriers launches its first collection of innovative baby carriers. A collection with a simple, yet versatile design, eliminated the complexity and discomfort for parents, while optimally supporting the babies in their growth. And with two unique patents with over 30 innovation points, it was worth the wait.

For parents, this equals flexibility, versatility, and convenience, while their babies still receive the best care, from newborns until toddlerhood. The collection consists of the Babymoon Mini, Maxi and Signature. The first one is specifically developed for premature babies and was awarded with a nomination for the Baby Innovation Awards. Moreover, the full line is recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
To top it off, Babymoon Carriers is a genuine social venture. In addition to the 2023 collection supporting parents and their babies worldwide, we are involved in various projects in Africa to combat infant mortality by promoting Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC). We are even actively working on the development of a ‘smart’ carrier that measures the vital functions such as heart rate, temperature, and blood pressure of babies, without the need for a doctor’s involvement.
